The OGQMOCA* is an urban accessories concept store representing brands and emerging creative fashion designers and stylists. The entire project emerged inside an existing space called Pedro Remy hairdresser and cultural space.
This project consists of a continuous wall, which can be divided into five independent modules with proper and distinctive features, occupying and having variable settings of installations inside the space.
This set of five modules comprise a dressing room and four exhibitor cabinets and are built with re-used doors from the former building, that once housed the GNR headquarters.
The single features of this pop up store enable these modules to work not only as exhibitor cabinets, but also as sculptures. When they are gathered, enclosed, aligned or scattered they appear as a sculpture door in the cultural room.
Due to the fact that they can be moved from one space to another, they can organize the store, reorganize the space, and create new contexts and dialogue with the client’s needs. The possibility to adapt and customize the space is as simple as the program needed.
